minnesota just won a tough game off of
a "bye week" against denver,
a week from sunday they play arch rival
green bay at the metrodome.
perfect time for a letdown, unless tice
can keep team focused.
giants off 2 loses in games they gave away,
will they come in angry or demoralized?

HOW CAN YOU BET ON A TEAM THAT HAS ONLY SCORED 3 OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS, MINNY AT HOME WILL DESTROY, THESE BOYS ARE FOR REAL.

I wish I could have gotten the G-men at +7. This is a perfect spot for NY. The media will be really on their asses this week. Minny looking ahead and after a big win, will not bring their A game. They can win but covering 7 is a bit too much

Unfortunately I dont think so. If this game was bet down by sharps then there is no way they put it back, they would just get popped again.
Maybe at places like Gameday or Sia

i don`t know what the problem with ny is....i think they got something like 25 first downs per game in their last 3 games but have trouble scoring, particularly at home......one of the highest rated offenses in the league...and philly only gained around 134 yds total offense last week...

they are gonna explode on somebody....minny might just be the spot....the over looks tempting,also....

i already bought to 7...also bought cincy from 2 to 3....i watched them dismantle the ravens last week.....most of the raven points came after the game was decided.....

if seattle has another lethargic game this week, they are gonna get smoked.....marvin lewis has that team starting to cook.....a solid, solid home dog....imo

sphincter,
i watched the new england game
and the philly game.
they held the pats to under
10 yds in the 1st 1/2 but were
still down 7-3( barber's fumble
returned for td).
like kc seems to
find ways to win, the giants seem
to find ways to lose.until they start
winning, i have to go against them or
lay off.

bob...i totally understand....always go with the trend, not against it......wise advice....but i have a gut feeling on this one...in fact on several this weekend...i also bought the brownies up vs the pats...i see this spot as a toughie for the banged up pats coming off a huge, huge win....and the browns always seem to hang tough on the road...a horrible home club, but a great road dog....

my favorite card so far this year....

best of luck

Troy Aikman chimes in with this:

AIKMAN on if the Giants can beat the Vikings if their turnover problem continues:
"The Giants aren't going to have any chance. This game will be over at halftime."

No, (laughs) they don't have a chance at all. If the Vikings continue to protect the ball they way that they have and the Giants turn it over like they have in the last few weeks, the Giants aren't going to have any chance. This game will be over at halftime.

The Giants are a team that's desperately trying to grasp hold of something and have some level of success. I think last week's game against the Eagles, the loser of that game at 2-4 was not going to be eliminated and could still go on to make the playoffs obviously, not mathematically eliminated at least. But I think that if the Giants lose this game and go to 2-5, I really believe that their season is pretty much over and they can start making plans for what they are doing in the off-season.

To say that when they're playing on the road against a team that has yet to lose is saying an awful lot. For the Giants, the big thing for them is they've got to get these playmakers of theirs more involved. They've got to be able to score touchdowns, that's what's hurt them in the red zone. They've got to find a way to stop Randy Moss and so far no one has been able to do that.

Vikings have coverd the number every game this year. I will continue to ride with them until they show signs of falling off.

My numbers have Minnesota winning the game by 16, but if the Giants keep shooting themselves in the foot, in could get worse real early.

Minny playing way too well on all sides of the ball right now, and in all facets.

Steeser - I hope you and Aikman are right. The Vikings are my suicide pool team this week!

Giants are starting 3 rookies on the O-line and one of the starting CB's (Will Peterson) is out for the season. As well as all the Giants special teams issues. This seems like a pretty good spot for the Vikes to lay the smack down.

Question,

At what point is a team "due" for a loss when they are on an extended winning streak?
